Meeting of the Polish side of the CONE project

On 29 and 30 October, the Polish partners of the CONE project - Cities of Nature: Nature-Based Solutions in Urban Living Labs met to discuss the upcoming activities.

On 29 October, a meeting was held in Wejherowo, where representatives of the Association and the Gdańsk University of Technology visited the pilot sites in Wejherowo. In the project, two locations of pilots were chosen, where at one of place will be created a rain garden and in the other place elements to protect the river from overflowing and flooding the city will be created. At the meeting participated employees involved in the project and the deputy mayor, Mr. Arkadiusz Kraszkiewicz, who expressed his willingness to act and his optimism for the future activities implemented in the project in Wejherowo.

On the second day, representatives of the Association and the Gdańsk University of Technology went this time to Tolkmicko. Together with the office staff and the mayor, they discussed about possible actions within the second pilot. The so-called "following" actions in Wejherowo will be implemented here. It was decided to make a small rain garden at the school.
