ESSiEW - first meeting

Today, 08.05.2023, the first on-line meeting of the Elbląg Specialisation and Water Economy Network took place. Initial technical and substantive assumptions of the group's future cooperation were discussed. The meeting participants discussed the choice of a specific direction, potential structural structural solutions and the issue of a target area for action.

The members emphasised that in future, the group will not be confined to local and regional activities in the Warminsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship and should be extended to the Pomeranian Voivodeship, which is territorially linked to the topic of water. In approaching the topic related to the essence of water as a raw material, as a resource and as a living environment, it will also be possible to network activities even in different parts of Europe, while carrying out pilot activities in selected areas.

The ESSiEW now faces the task of developing a needs diagnosis in order to create a basis for a common pattern of action. The diagnosis will be carried out in two directions in order to answer the question of what the expectations of the individual members in terms of cooperation and its outcomes, and what each member can
offer for the development of the initiative.

The next step of the activities will be to write the application.
